About The Position

As a Welder Fabricator, your role is to create metal structures and products using welding and fabrication techniques. Your daily tasks will include reading blueprints, measuring and welding metal pieces together to form a finished product. You will need to have good GMAW and FCAW skills along with grinding, drilling, cutting and plasma metal removal processes. Attention to detail is crucial, as even small mistakes can compromise the integrity of the finished product. Alongside technical expertise, you will need physical strength and stamina to work with heavy machinery and the ability to work long hours on your feet. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent with additional technical certification or vocational training in welding preferred.
Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, with proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
Strong understanding of welding principles, metallurgy, and material properties, with the ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
Familiarity with welding equipment and tools, including welding machines, torches, grinders, and measuring instruments.
Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity, with the ability to produce precise and consistent welds on a variety of metal materials.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to safety and adherence to established safety protocols and procedures.
Good GMAW and FCAW skills along with grinding, drilling, cutting and plasma metal removal processes.

Nice To Haves

Fabrication experience that includes knowledge of layout, fabrication and welding
Prior exposure to metal fabrication concepts and processes
Strong mathematical and analytical skills, along with a keen sense of attention to detail
Blueprint reading and interpretation skills
Experience with welding carbon steel.
Ability to troubleshoot welding equipment and perform basic repairs as needed.
