About The Position

American Pop Corn Company is seeking hard-working, dependable people to join their team as a Production Waste & Cleaning Crew Member in Building 41 (Microwave). This role is responsible for keeping the production areas clean and orderly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform basic math, including addition and subtraction, and accurately record measurements such as weight, volume, and distance.
• Ability to identify and resolve routine problems while working independently and following established procedures.
• Regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling, climbing stairs, and repetitive movement.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cleaning, sanitation, or food manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Weigh popcorn production waste
• Waste dumping using a lift
• Sweeping production floor to maintain a clean work environment
• Washing mats, trash cans, floor, etc.
• Track waste and complete required paperwork
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
