About The Position
Essential Function Assist and provide support services to the production process and perform duties associated with plant housekeeping.
Requirements
- Demonstrated competency operating a forklift, bobcat
- Ability to operate/learn to operate a 10-wheel dump truck and water truck
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in an industrial environment desired.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need for employer-sponsored visa (work permit).
Responsibilities
- Clean spillage around crushers, elevators, conveyors, work platforms, catwalks, etc.
- Perform general labor and cleanup duties throughout the plant
- May haul fines or waste material to designated locations
- May fill bulk bags and/or load flatbed trucks
- May assist in staging the production process
- May monitor and adjust a crusher for proper gapping
- Responsible for operating plant when Operator is at lunch or during unplanned vacancies
- Responsible for performing product sampling, and reporting out of specification material to Operator
- Responsible for quality of work and the safe operation of all tools/equipment under his/her control
- Responsible for good housekeeping and safety inspection of work area
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned
