Production Utility Operator
About The Position
REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 17 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions
- Reliability of attendance
- Accurately recording of weights
- Show safe work practice around the facility
- Ability to drive tow motor/forklift
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of industrial manufacturing tasks to support the successful production of our products.
- Band ingot per customer specification.
- Operate the ingot casting robot.
- Drive a forklift and transfer ingot to the banding pad.
- Assist in maintaining furnace pump wells and bag house maintenance.
