About The Position
Now Hiring: Utility Operator – Production. A to Z Machine Company is hiring a Utility Operator – Production to support our CNC machine shop team. This role is a great opportunity to build hands-on skills while contributing to quality parts and a high-performing team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Positive attitude and team mindset
- Willingness to learn forklift, crane, and equipment operation
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year manufacturing experience
- Blueprint reading
Responsibilities
- Support production and inspection teams
- Perform basic inspection using gauges and visual standards
- Assist with assembly (bolting, fastening, clipping components)
- Deburr, polish, grind, and hand-finish parts
- Operate bandsaw equipment (after training)
- Train to run production parts following standard work instructions
- Monitor quality and notify leads of any issues
- Maintain clean, organized work areas
- Follow all 6S, ISO/quality, and safety standards
