About The Position

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Mix/Mill/Granulation Utility position will be responsible for supporting the department by verifying weights for operators, assisting in changeovers and a multitude of other supporting functions.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
0-1 years of experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Experience in a food processing environment preferred
Experience as a machine operator preferred
Knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of basic math
Skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Adaptability/Flexibility
Communication (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

Monitor quality of product by collecting samples for lab testing
Maintain and record all required documentation (batch sheets, end shift report, ingredient lot tracking, etc.)
Complete all labeling and inventory movements to ensure accurate inventory control
Prepare raw materials going back to the warehouse
Assist with dismantling and cleaning any accessories and equipment between batches while also maintaining a clean work area
Miscellaneous cleaning tasks (cleaning scoops, fluid bed filters, etc.)
Assist in performing machine changeovers and sanitations
Verify weights for fluid beds
Perform daily verification of scale accuracy
Weigh and stage barrels of raw materials
Clean and wrap pallets of finished product
Perform job duties in a manner that meets company Quality and Safety standards
