About The Position

Mid-State Sales is a family-owned company established in 1969, specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of hydraulic fluid conveyance products. We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our ISO 9001-certified production facility. In this role, you will be responsible for TIG welding components made from carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, ensuring high-quality welds for high-pressure applications. The position offers a supportive team atmosphere, a family-owned company culture, and a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with afternoons free.

Requirements

Previous TIG welding experience and confidence in your welding skills.
A strong understanding of TIG techniques, machine setup, and process requirements.
A quality-conscious mindset and close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

TIG weld hydraulic fluid conveyance components, including carbon steel tubing and end connections, as well as stainless steel and aluminum products.
Set up and operate Miller welding equipment for the material and application.
Produce consistent, high-quality welds for products used in high-pressure service.
Perform silver brazing, preparatory cleaning, and post-process braze scale removal.
Assist with occasional in-house fabrication and repair work.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safe work practices.
