About The Position

The Production Tester I is responsible for testing and evaluating products during the manufacturing process to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. The role involves using various testing equipment, analyzing test results, and collaborating with the production team to identify and resolve issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of production experience.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have good communication skills and be fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and a reference check.

Nice To Haves

• 608 Type 2 or Universal certification must be received within 60 days.
• Prior experience with basic hand tools and power tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety protocols, report any incidents promptly, and always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Test equipment using standard work instructions to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with FBD quality standards.
• Identify defects or issues, troubleshoot problems, and communicate findings to the production team or Engineers for resolution.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure it is calibrated and functions correctly.
• Crosstrain and rotate between different workstations on the production floor as directed to support production demand.
• Process non-conformance reports (NCRs) for rejected material according to the FBD NCR process.
• Participate in lean activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with FBD 5S policies.
• Perform other duties and projects as needed and assigned.
