About The Position

Texas Instruments is seeking a Production Test Specialist to support operations in a test lab environment. The role operates various automated test equipment (ATE) and device handlers to perform qualification, characterization, reliability, wafer probe, and device sample processes. Work also includes laser marking, package inspection, device changes, and tool-kit setup. The specialist interfaces and communicates with engineering and business units across the lab to ensure issues are resolved appropriately and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to follow standardized work directions.
• Two years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with team members, lab technicians, and business unit engineers.
• Collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
• Follow technical instructions outlined in Engineering Work Orders (ISA) and Special Work Requests (SWR).
• Ensure documented information is correct and entered in a timely manner.
• Record process observations and summary findings in ISA/SWR reports.
• Perform equipment setups.
• Follow established lab specifications and procedures.
• Operate ATE equipment and device handlers for qualification, characterization, reliability, wafer probe, and device sample processes.
• Perform laser marking, package inspection, device changes, and tool-kit setup.
• Interface and communicate with engineering and business units across the lab to help resolve issues.
