About The Position

The Production Test Manager (STG) for the Orlando system test team will be responsible for managing the day-to-day testing of our photonics systems. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality products on time, while controlling costs and meeting program objectives. The System Test Manager will spearhead our efforts to optimize and streamline the OCT testing processes. As a member of our leadership team, you will directly impact on our business performance by ensuring efficient, high-quality testing operations while balancing multiple priorities, foster team collaboration, and continuously improve the testing processes. Your expertise and decision-making will be instrumental in driving our company's success and maintaining our competitive edge in the market.

Requirements

BS in Engineering or related degree.
Must be a US Citizen.
Minimum 10 years of management experience in complex electro-optical DoD production
Expert Knowledge of all aspects of high volume electro-optical manufacturing including assembly, test, manufacturing and test engineering, supply chain, material planning, MRP and IMS Scheduling.
Expert knowledge and experience in Earned Value Management; have ability to set, monitor and adhere to budgets.
Expert Knowledge in developing manufacturing labor and material proposals in compliance with DFAR regulations.
Expert knowledge of Bills of Material and configuration management and change control processes.
Experience leading a Multifunctional team.
Knowledge of tracking budgets and providing cost estimates.
Practical experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and Manufacturing Experience in a DoD Aerospace Manufacturing environment
Knowledgeable in AS9100.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance.
Knowledge of Microsoft tools Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree
Prior experience in photonics manufacturing of assemblies with optical fiber
Prior experience with new product introduction to manufacturing.
Demonstrated expertise in Infor enterprise software.

Oversee comprehensive workforce management, including manpower planning, training, strategic hiring, professional development programs and performance evaluations.
Align testing efforts with broader program goals and company objectives.
Corrective Action Planning.
Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
Must be willing to work onsite.
