The Production Technician will be responsible for maintaining ATE and computer hardware, conducting routine and emergency maintenance to ensure high availability. This role involves developing, maintaining, and installing software upgrades on assigned product lines, and maintaining Final Test work instructions in a controlled format, updating them as required. The technician will interface with ES&S, Engineering, Service Techs, and others to replicate and troubleshoot field failures. Responsibilities include revising test code/work instructions to screen for failures, developing/revising test code and equipment for new and transferred products, and assisting Quality Engineers in developing test methods. The role also involves developing ATE solutions as needed, improving testing processes, and helping to eliminate root causes of product failures by auditing testing and manufacturing processes. Additionally, the technician will test/program computer control boards of units and may be required to perform other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
