About The Position

Diamond Foundry Inc. is solving the thermal limitation at the foundation of today's most exciting tech industries -- AI & cloud compute, electric-car power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. We have managed to produce the world's first single-crystal diamond wafers and are now on a mission to put a diamond behind every chip. We are the rare unicorn that has grown fast and profitably. We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy. We are seeking an individual who can own primary responsibilities such as front and backend manufacturing tasks that support diamond growth for our internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or GED).
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred, including small-component assembly and use of magnifying tools.
  • Strong manual dexterity with excellent vision to perform precision tasks.
  • No work restrictions, with the ability to sit, stand, kneel, climb ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to process information and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of multitasking while maintaining focus on production goals.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
  • Maintains and enforces a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various diamond manufacturing processes: Use multiple instruments and methods to complete production tasks that are directly related to the lab, characterization stations, reactors, and laser room.
  • Data Accuracy & Communication: Record and maintain accurate production and quality data and stay current on emails and process changes.
  • Operate complex production equipment: Complete training requirements to operate pre-production and post-production equipment.
  • Cleans, aligns, and maintains tools and equipment for maximum uptime and efficiency.
  • Follows all protocols: closely adheres to all approved SOPs and safety protocols.
