About The Position

Diamond Foundry Inc. is seeking an individual who can own primary responsibilities such as front and backend manufacturing tasks that support diamond growth for our internal and external customers. The company is solving the thermal limitation at the foundation of today's most exciting tech industries -- AI & cloud compute, electric-car power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. They have produced the world's first single-crystal diamond wafers and are now on a mission to put a diamond behind every chip. They have grown fast and profitably, received $515m in funding, and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or GED).
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred, including small-component assembly and use of magnifying tools.
  • Strong manual dexterity with excellent vision to perform precision tasks.
  • No work restrictions, with the ability to sit, stand, kneel, climb ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to process information and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of multitasking while maintaining focus on production goals.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
  • Maintains and enforces a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various diamond manufacturing processes: Use multiple instruments and methods to complete production tasks that are directly related to the lab, characterization stations, reactors, and laser room.
  • Data Accuracy & Communication: Record and maintain accurate production and quality data and stay current on emails and process changes.
  • Operate complex production equipment: Complete training requirements to operate pre-production and post-production equipment.
  • Cleans, aligns, and maintains tools and equipment for maximum uptime and efficiency.
  • Follows all protocols: closely adheres to all approved SOPs and safety protocols.
