About The Position
The Production Technician performs a wide variety of responsibilities requiring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. SPI provides hygienic pipe, valves, fittings, pumps, and heat exchangers to industrial companies and industrial service providers. Proliferating our brand as �the people who know sanitary process systems� to the world is a vital part of our growth strategy and we are searching for a disciplined and driven Production Technician to work with our Production team. SPI provides state-of-the-art stainless steel process equipment and service to the food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, and personal care industries. Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Attention to detail
- Good time management
- Demonstrates initiative
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Carpentry experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Building crates and wooden boxes
- Assist with cleanup of manufacturing area, buildings, grounds, and vehicle
- Local pick-up and delivery of vehicles, material, parts and equipment
- Cleaning of parts for manufacturing
- Removal of metal chip barrels
- Assembly and disassembly of parts and equipment
- Packing products for shipment
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Operating fork truck and scissor lift
- Picking warehouse material
