Requirements

  • A High School diploma / GED is required.
  • Must be able to read, comprehend and understand work instructions.
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Must be able to operate fork truck, electric hoist, scales, and label machines.
  • Should be comfortable with frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, occasional stooping, crouching, climbing and capable of lifting 40lbs.
  • Must be able to wear a full face or half face respirator.
  • Persons considered for this position must be either a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder) or otherwise classifiable as a U.S. person under relevant regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Read, understand, and use Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMI’s), Job-Safety Analysis’ (JSA), and schedules to accomplish daily production tasks.
  • Support and participate in current and new safety initiatives/policies as business needs arise.
  • Follow step by step instructions detailed by senior operators in turnover reports, written job instructions, or verbal instructions.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy by performing basic math and maintaining an organized workspace.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to complete tasks on-time while meeting all safety and quality requirements.
  • Perform the operation of machines, fork trucks, and/or associated equipment.
