About The Position
Taking direction from Managers and Team Leads the Production Technician will be expected to read and understand electrical schematics, assemble control panels and equipment of varying size and scope to meet client and product specifications, and conduct pre-testing quality control as well as testing of completed systems. The Technician will also assist with routine shop and equipment maintenance. A background in electrical/ control systems and PLC experience are a plus. This position may require infrequent travel for installation/service deployment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent OR relevant experience
- Satisfactory completion of additional background screening (if applicable).
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, frequently stand or walk around the work area, and lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity are essential for this job.
- Comfortable with occasional repetitive motions.
- Must be able to follow instructions and stay alert to potential hazards on the shop floor.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
Nice To Haves
- Background in electrical/ control systems
- PLC experience
- OSHA10 certification
- CPR certification
