About The Position
Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking a Production Technician to join their team. This role involves taking direction from Managers and Team Leads to read electrical schematics, assemble control panels and equipment, and perform pre-testing quality control and testing of completed systems. The technician will also assist with routine shop and equipment maintenance. A background in electrical/control systems and PLC experience are considered a plus. This position may require infrequent travel for installation/service deployment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent OR relevant experience
- Satisfactory completion of additional background screening (if applicable).
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to follow instructions and stay alert to potential hazards on the shop floor.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
Nice To Haves
- Background in electrical/control systems
- PLC experience
- OSHA10 certification
- CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Pre-Test/QC and Test completed systems.
- Assemble control panels and equipment to meet client and product specifications.
- Use hand and power tools as required.
- Read and understand electrical schematics.
- Assist with routine shop and equipment maintenance.
