About The Position

This job is responsible for assigned aspects of the production process which may include material handling, equipment operation, packaging products, process monitoring, quality control, cleaning, and various support activities for the manufacturing department. This role performs timely completion of production runs while maintaining the highest quality standards. Duties and responsibilities can change regularly based on customer formulation and volume requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent level of combined education and experience.
  • 1 of year of work experience, preferably in the product formulation industry.
  • Experience working with industrial equipment in production environment.
  • Experience in production equipment operation and warehousing techniques.
  • Proven team player with a can-do attitude able to work with minimal supervision once fully trained.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with others.
  • Language skills: English and [if any] are required, [other language] is desired
  • Thrives working in a small, innovative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • With basic knowledge of production processes, performs duties for the manufacture of chemical products and lubricants.
  • Ensure quality and consistency in production processes by operating and monitoring production equipment such as conveyors, fillers, labelers and lot coders, carton tapers, cappers and sealers.
  • Meet production schedule, procedure, and volume goals in coordination with coworkers.
  • Ensure efficiency and productivity by monitoring production processes and/or equipment.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with equipment, devices, or products.
  • Gather and arrange materials ensuring adequate inventory of packaging and ingredients.
  • Update production schedule and job order documentation, batch records and progress reports.
  • Follow established practices in compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
