Production Technician
About The Position
This role involves operating, monitoring, and adjusting production equipment and process controls. Responsibilities include performing start-ups, shutdowns, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting. The technician will also be responsible for completing sampling, batch records, logs, and required documentation, while adhering to safety, environmental, quality, and operating procedures. Maintaining housekeeping standards and supporting equipment readiness are also key aspects of the role. The technician will work collaboratively with production, maintenance, quality, and EHS teams and participate in emergency response and required training activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong mechanical aptitude required
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Nice To Haves
- Chemical plant or manufacturing experience preferred
