Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
Ability to lift to 55 lbs and work in a physically active setting

Nice To Haves

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field preferred
Experience working with process systems or automated equipment is a plus
Experience in biotechnology, chemical, or food manufacturing environments
Familiarity with Delta V or similar distributed control systems (DCS)
Proven ability to identify process improvements and drive efficiencies

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor production equipment within enzyme manufacturing processes
Utilize Delta V process control systems to ensure optimal plant performance
Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues to minimize downtime
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and productivity
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to optimize operations
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
Accurately document production data and maintain operational records
Assist in maintaining equipment reliability and reporting maintenance needs
