About The Position
This position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. The Production Technician is responsible for producing finished goods that meet or exceed customer requirements and specifications, while optimizing cycle times for efficient throughput. This role also involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment, as well as performing minor preventative maintenance and mold clean-up.

Responsibilities
- Promote a safe working environment
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent injury
- Produce finished goods that meet or exceed customer requirements and specifications at optimum cycle times
- Repair and/or provide information to the maintenance department regarding production parameters (gram weight, S-1 dimensions, wall distribution, leak detection, drop testing)
- Provide information for shift notes, problems encountered, corrective actions taken, and machine setting readings on provided forms
- Maintain best cycle, blow, exhaust, and dry cycle times while maintaining effective throughput of regrind material
- Perform delegated duties for production change-overs related to labels, sleeves, weights, color, resin, and box on all blow molding and support equipment
- Acquire skills and knowledge to efficiently operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment
- Provide labor for mold clean up, set up, and minor preventative maintenance as directed by the Supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned
