About The Position

This role involves assembling and manufacturing product samples, prototypes, tools, or systems according to work plans, work orders, and specifications. The technician will be responsible for preparing materials, tools, and machines, performing quality checks, and supporting project managers and engineers in sample analysis.

Requirements

Vocationally trained in Electronics, Mechanics
3 to 5 years of experience
Undergraduate Degree in Electronics, Mechanics
3 to 5 years of experience

Responsibilities

Assemble and manufacture series of product samples, prototypes, tools or systems in specified time, according to work plans, work orders and specifications.
Recognize and decode construction plans, all relevant drawings and work orders, in cooperation with the team.
Ensure availability of material parts and resources needed to accomplish own assignment.
Prepare all relevant tools, machines and parts according to the defined sample plans, produce and/or assemble series of parts, components, products, systems or tools.
Perform sight checks, functionality or quality test routines, and take over respective documentation.
Support and cooperate with accountable Project Manager or Engineers in the analyses of samples.
Define machining sequences and production work orders.
Assemble and prepare tools and equipment for further usage during the production process.
Prepares, completes and installs tools and/or clamping devices, enters processing data and simulates production process.
Operates work order related production program, checks results and corrects program if necessary.
Control and document work order progress, problems, machine time, materials used and may oversee activities of auxiliary personnel.
Carry out minor maintenance work and cooperation with maintenance to identify and to resolve failures.
Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
