We are looking for a Production Technician who will be responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse and production facility. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains safety standards, and supports smooth operations to meet customer and organizational needs. The technician is also on duty to fill-in as a shipper and receiver.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in Mechanical or Technical background are an asset.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, especially in electromechanical repair
  • Familiarity with standard safety procedures and production standards in important in factory settings.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and handle items and perform physical tasks, including standing, sitting and walking for extended periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and accuracy in maintaining records and quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble automated kiosks and related subassemblies to engineering schematics and work instructions.
  • Perform electrical wiring following applicable codes and standards, install and connect system components such as: Industrial PCs and Monitors, Credit card payment terminals RFID tag readers Receipt printers Barcode scanners Sensors, indicators, and communication devices
  • Set up and configure computer hardware and basic software required for kiosk operation, Verify correct wiring, connectivity, and system functionality through testing and troubleshooting, Diagnose and repair assembly, wiring, or component issues during build and installation
  • Assist with on-site installation and commissioning of kiosks as required, Maintain accurate build documentation, wiring changes, and test results
  • Perform initial power-up and configuration of kiosk systems according to plans. Document test results, resolve any issues identified during commissioning, assist with routine inspections and preventive maintenance, and respond to technical issues by completing repairs as needed.
  • Quality Control: Visually inspect incoming goods for defects or damages and escalate issues promptly. Ensure only quality products are stored and shipped.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and mobile lifts. Perform routine checks and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and promote a culture of safety in the warehouse. Adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff, functional departments and management to ensure smooth operations.
