About The Position

Portland Bottling Company is seeking a Production Technician to join their team. This role is responsible for performing all tasks associated with production equipment in a safe manner, keeping quality and efficiency in mind. The technician will observe machine operations, regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature, and stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur. They will also troubleshoot and report deviations, ensure products are manufactured safely by following Good Manufacturing Practices, complete required production paperwork accurately, and maintain punctual attendance. The position requires working collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Food & Beverage experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation, GMP and allergen handling processes a plus
• Prior experience with production paperwork a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing all tasks associated with production equipment in a safe manner, keeping quality and efficiency in mind.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products.
• Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature.
• Stop or resets machines when malfunctions occur.
• Troubleshoot and report all deviations from standard parameters. Work with the team to determine root cause of the problem.
• Ensure all products are manufactured safely by following Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Complete required production paperwork accurately.
• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
