As a Production Technician, you will have key responsibilities supporting manufacturing operations either in the manufacturing, packaging, and/or product labeling areas. You will set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product. You will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by a supervisor to perform production tasks. You will also check and inspect the operation against predetermined tolerances. You will provide support to an area, person, or program and interface with internal customers. You will perform semi-routine support duties of a specialized nature within an assigned area. You will also be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions. This includes maintaining material/supply needs to support production, setting up & operating equipment, and processing materials & packaging kits by standard operating procedures. You will inspect products and components to verify completeness of the final device and ensure product information is precise and legible. You will inspect the product for quality and adherence to specifications, ensuring full compliance with both GMP and housekeeping standards within the packaging area. You will participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving associated with the packaging process and complete and ensure the accuracy of all process orders and associated required documentation, records, and metrics. Preparing work centers for appropriate line clearance procedures and conducting regular cleaning by standard operating procedures are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Thorough understanding of the principles and applications of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures
  • Detail oriented

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of related experience in production or manufacturing assembly in a regulated industry
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to have flexibility in work schedule when needed

Responsibilities
