About The Position

Alleima, a leading producer of seamless stainless tube products in Clarks Summit, PA, is seeking a Production Technician for its manufacturing facility. This company, created as a joint venture between Sandvik and Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metals was built on a firm foundation of teamwork and employee interaction. As the Production Technician, you will be responsible for performing various manufacturing, quality control, and logistics tasks including operating saws, overhead cranes and inspection tools. This role will require a variety of industrial skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn new skills in support of manufacturing.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Basic math/data entry skills
• Ability to perform well in a total quality, team-based environment
• Reliable, strongly focused on quality, and show a high level of initiative
• Ability to work any shift

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Inspection experience

Responsibilities

• Perform product quality inspections using various inspection tools
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Perform other duties assigned by Management
• Operating saws, overhead cranes and inspection tools
