About The Position

Richelieu Hardware Canada Ltd. is seeking a Countertop Processor to join our growing team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, building quality products, and contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. As a Countertop Processor, you will play an important role in the production of custom laminate countertops while also supporting warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving. We are looking for a detail-oriented team player who takes pride in producing quality work and meeting customer expectations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or building materials environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when measuring, cutting, and assembling products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and regularly lifting materials up to 100 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience cutting and working with wood, laminate, countertops, or similar materials.
  • Knowledge of countertop fabrication processes and materials such as laminate, MDF, and particle board.
  • Ability to read plans, drawings, and take precise measurements.
  • Experience with shipping and receiving operations.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Air brake certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Cut, cap, and build laminate countertops according to customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Prepare countertop products and materials for installation and delivery.
  • Operate tools, machinery, and equipment used in countertop fabrication and assembly.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including handling incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Accurately store, organize, and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
  • Follow company safety procedures and operational standards.
