Requirements
- Completion of a college diploma in a related technical program.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Exposure to heavy machinery.
- Exposure to loud noises.
- Exposure to forklift and other machine traffic.
- Exposure to extreme heat.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular assessments of manufacturing areas to ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and quality and safety standards, addressing any observations promptly.
- Train employees on job functions according to SOPs and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for production processes, including equipment time studies, run at rate studies, and tool changeover studies.
- Develop manufacturing and processing procedures and variables, set machine and equipment controls, oversee production, and inspect processes.
- Provide immediate direction for potential product quality issues, including initial assessment of deviations, product impact determination, containment, corrective actions, and escalation.
- Actively participate in investigations related to manufacturing processes and the implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions.
- Make machine adjustments to resolve line issues (e.g., lights, alarms, visual indicators) and support maintenance in minor troubleshooting.
- Perform SPC (Statistical Process Control) checks as per procedure.
- Participate in the change-over process, including setup (assembly and disassembly), to meet or exceed established change-over time standards.
