About The Position

Kofile Products is a custom binder and presentation company that provides binders and accessories to state and local government bodies, as well as presentation products (binders, slipcases, and boxes) for commercial organizations. They handle over 15,000 custom orders annually and are not a typical production facility, offering a clean, safe, and temperature-controlled environment with opportunities for training and advancement. Kofile also provides a full complement of records management products and services for state and local governments, optimizing cost-effective, quality solutions for permanent, historical, and digital assets. Services include preservation, archival products, digital imaging and conversion, indexing, micrographics, and electronic recording, management, and reporting systems.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent hand eye coordination
Ability to work with different measuring devices (e.g. rulers)
Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours per shift)
Self-starter and desire to learn new processes
Interest in long term employment and takes pride in their work
Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

Responsible for a glue machine and hand assembly of custom binders
Sewing materials to create bound books
Quality control (QC) to ensure customer orders are complete and accurate
Participate in an initial training program and future training in other production processes
