About The Position

This role involves operating and supporting a fast-paced production line, machine, or palletizer to create high-quality hygiene products. The technician will follow clear specifications and SOPs, ensuring the line runs smoothly and efficiently, playing a hands-on role in driving strong machine performance and delivering great results as part of the shift team. The schedule hours are 2:30 PM to 11 PM.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Entry-level experience - 0-1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or no prior experience but a willingness to learn.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Basic mathematical and computer literacy skills.
  • Ability to lift and frequently stand, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Quick learner.
  • Be able to work overtime, flexible hours, and weekends, as needed or required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment in accordance with Essity safety standards, taking responsibility for personal and others' safety.
  • Operate and monitor the machine to maintain production flow, making adjustments as needed using Essity Continuous Improvement Systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the Team Leader and skilled operators for support and guidance.
  • Prepare and load raw materials or finished products for palletizing, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain strong communication with the previous and next shift, and all team members involved in running the machine.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Support teammates with operating tasks and contribute to a smooth, efficient production flow.
  • Ensure product quality by performing regular checks and rejecting or blocking items that do not meet specifications.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Accurately complete all required production documentation and data logs.
