About The Position

This role involves operating and supporting a fast-paced production line, machine, or palletizer to create high-quality hygiene products. The technician will follow clear specifications and SOPs, ensuring the line runs smoothly and efficiently, playing a hands-on role in driving strong machine performance and delivering great results as part of the shift team. The schedule hours are 2:30 PM to 11 PM.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Entry-level experience - 0-1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or no prior experience but a willingness to learn.
Attention to detail.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Basic mathematical and computer literacy skills.
Ability to lift and frequently stand, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
Quick learner.
Be able to work overtime, flexible hours, and weekends, as needed or required.

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment in accordance with Essity safety standards, taking responsibility for personal and others' safety.
Operate and monitor the machine to maintain production flow, making adjustments as needed using Essity Continuous Improvement Systems.
Collaborate closely with the Team Leader and skilled operators for support and guidance.
Prepare and load raw materials or finished products for palletizing, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintain strong communication with the previous and next shift, and all team members involved in running the machine.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Support teammates with operating tasks and contribute to a smooth, efficient production flow.
Ensure product quality by performing regular checks and rejecting or blocking items that do not meet specifications.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Accurately complete all required production documentation and data logs.
