About The Position

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Production Technician I for its flagship market in North America. This role is a bargaining union position, represented by Local 773, International Brotherhood of Teamsters. The Production Technician will be responsible for completing and supporting various tasks associated with the manufacturing process of beverages, ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

High School Diploma, General Education or equivalent work experience
Minimum 1 year light industrial experience
Ability to operate manufacturing equipment
Basic math skills and reading comprehension

Nice To Haves

Prior production / manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform production tasks including equipment setup, filling, labeling, and recordkeeping in accordance with the Coca‑Cola Quality System.
Maintain manufacturing equipment and work areas (e.g., cleaning and sanitizing tanks and piping, maintaining conveyors, loading raw materials) according to GMP policies.
Move raw materials and finished goods using forklifts or warehouse equipment.
Inspect production, warehouse, and service areas to ensure compliance with safety, operating policies, and GMP standards.
Implement and maintain the Coca‑Cola Quality System to meet company product quality requirements.
Calculate and record production yields, scrap, and material usage variances.
Conduct microbiological testing of ingredients, water, and finished products, and perform ingredient receiving and trailer inspections.
Communicate with team members to address product or service issues, solve problems, and support business objectives.
Identify and report non‑compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and retain records related to policy and procedure compliance.
