About The Position

The Production Technician I performs beginner-level operation of packaging equipment, including manual case labeling, visual inspections, bundling, cartoning, labeling, banding, serialization, line and equipment cleaning, line clearances, and documentation. The role operates packaging and serialization equipment, maintains production records and OEE entries, performs basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, and completes beginner line changeovers. The technician is expected to follow GMP, ISO, and EHS requirements and participate in operational excellence initiatives. This is a second-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., located in Tampa, Florida.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two to five years of experience as a Packaging Operator.
Ability to work quickly and under pressure.
Good documentation and math skills.
Detail-oriented and quality-conscious.
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

Operate packaging line and serialization equipment.
Clean and disinfect equipment after each run and perform line clearance.
Maintain OEE through system entry and adherence to standards.
Document activities and operations accurately and on time in the batch record.
Perform basic troubleshooting to prevent equipment downtime.
Perform basic preventive maintenance and Maximo data entry.
Perform beginner line changeovers of format sizes.
Maintain awareness of and compliance with GMP, ISO, and EHS requirements and initiatives in the respective area.
Attend and participate in OpEx improvement initiatives, including cost reduction and OEE improvements.
Complete and maintain required annual SOP, EHS, and HR training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
