About The Position
We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Production Technician. This is an operations position that requires shift work. 12 hour rotating shifts 0600 to 1800, and 1800 to 0600. The selected candidate for this position will be responsible for operating a combined cycle power plant in Orlando, Florida and a simple cycle power plant in Cocoa, Florida. Other duties will include maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
Requirements
- High School Grad / GED
- 2+ years of power plant, industrial turbine, or equivalent military experience
- Valid Driver’s License (NON-CDL)
Nice To Haves
- Combined cycle operations experience
- Practical knowledge of the both the Rankine and Brayton operating cycles
- Experience with a computer maintenance management system (like Maximo)
- Experience with GE MK and Emerson Ovation control systems
- Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience
Responsibilities
- Repairs and calibrates equipment
- Monitors equipment performance through testing
- Applies advanced electrical, mechanical, or I and C skills
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
