DTI seeks a Production Technician / Assembler to join its growing, high-technology business. This position assists the production department with parts and materials in support of DTI’s experimental development and production projects and lines. DTI’s work involves the design, fabrication, construction, installation and testing of specialized, high-power electrical equipment for industrial and government applications. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED: Technical High School with courses in Electronics preferred
0-2 years’ relevant experience
Understanding of Windows, Microsoft Excel and Word
Good organization skills
Interpersonal skills: able to interact effectively with production staff, scientists, engineers
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Responsibilities

Assemble printed circuit boards (thru-hole and surface mount technologies)
Build wire bundles and other subcomponents (crimp wires, perform light soldering)
Apply epoxies, glues and other adhesives to complete subassemblies
Assist with integration of final work product on an occasional basis
Assist production staff with various other tasks, as needed
