About The Position
The Production Technician meets daily production needs in manufacturing quality parts. This role does not have supervisory responsibilities. The intern will work safely in a team environment, meet daily production needs in manufacturing quality parts, and must be able to read and learn to interpret specification sheets and mechanical drawings. They will also learn to read precision measuring instruments, assist with equipment set-up/troubleshooting, help other shifts or areas as needed, and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specification sheets, and/or mechanical drawings
- Proficient in precision measurement or become proficient through training
- Familiar with use of beakers, pipettes, hot plates, and other basic lab equipment
- Capable of collection Plating Bath Samples for analysis
- Experienced in basic Lab Safety
- Can conduct, under supervision, titrations, mixing solutions per recipe, and other basic lab scale tests
- Complete testing result reports and document on paper records
