About The Position

As a Production Technician at MKS Power Solutions in Rochester, New York, you will partner with Operations to set up and test boards, subassemblies, and full assemblies. You will also assist Technical Operations with test development for future MKS products. The role reports to the Production Test Supervisor and requires working a set schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Overtime may be needed, and travel is not required.

Requirements

• Two-year degree in Electronics Technology, or equivalent experience and/or military experience in electronics.
• Able to work a set schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail in assigned tasks.
• Self-sufficient.
• Able to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read a schematic.
• Two or more years of experience.
• Visual Factory.

Responsibilities

• Set up and test boards, subassemblies, and full assemblies.
• Follow test specifications, methods, and procedures provided by Technical Operations.
• Troubleshoot routine unit problems.
• Work with Technical Operations on developing future MKS products.
• Clearly report issues to Technical Operations and assist with problem solving.
