About The Position

UniFirst is hiring a reliable, hardworking Production Team Partner in the Shipping Department to help ensure customers receive their garments on schedule. The role involves preparing, organizing, storing, inspecting, and wrapping garments for shipment back to customer locations. On-the-job training and ongoing cross-training are provided, with opportunities for career growth and advancement. The position has a 40-hour work week, with Saturday and Sunday off.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions using American standard units of weight, measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and push up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school education or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare garments for shipment back to customer locations.
• Organize garments by route and stop number.
• Store garments until they are shipped back to the customer.
• Perform final inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Prepare garments that require poly bagging or wrapping.
• Follow safety policies, HACCP requirements, and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as directed by the area supervisor or management.
