About The Position

UniFirst is hiring a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner for its Shipping Department. The role helps ensure customers receive their garments on schedule. The position offers on-the-job training and ongoing cross-training across production areas, with opportunities for career development and advancement. The job is described as a 40-hour work week with Saturdays and Sundays off.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions using American standard units of weight, measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and push up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare garments to be shipped back to customer locations.
• Organize garments by route and stop number.
• Store garments until they are shipped back to the customer.
• Perform final inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Prepare garments that require poly bagging or wrapping.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by the area supervisor or management.
