About The Position

UniFirst is hiring a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner for its Production Department. The role helps begin the production process each morning by unloading soiled products from service trucks, sorting and weighing them, and storing them for the next process. The position provides on-the-job training and ongoing cross-training in different production areas, with opportunities for career development and advancement. The role has a 40-hour work week, with Saturdays and Sundays off.

Requirements

• High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate machinery.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and push carts up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight, volume, and distance.

Nice To Haves

• High school education or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Unload soiled products from trucks.
• Separate products by type.
• Weigh soiled products and hoist or store them until the next process.
• Handle reductions or modifications to customer accounts, including adding or removing product.
• Follow safety policies, HACCP requirements, and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the area supervisor or management.
