About The Position

UniFirst is hiring a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner for its Production Department. Working as part of a team, the partner unloads soiled products from service trucks at the start of the production process and prepares them for the next stage. The role includes on-the-job training and ongoing cross-training in different production areas, with opportunities for career growth and advancement. The position has a 40-hour work week and weekends off.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to operate machinery.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and push carts up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight, volume, and distance.

Nice To Haves

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload soiled products from trucks.
• Separate products by type.
• Weigh soiled products and hoist or store them until the next process.
• Handle reductions or modifications to customer accounts, including adding or removing products.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP requirements, and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by the area supervisor or management.
