About The Position

UniFirst is hiring a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner for its Production Department. The role starts the production process each morning by working with a team to unload soiled products from service trucks, sort and weigh them, and move them to storage for the next process. The position also involves processing customer account product reductions or modifications and following safety, HACCP, and medical guidelines. On-the-job training and ongoing cross-training are provided, with opportunities for career advancement. The job offers a 40-hour work week with weekends off.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to operate machinery.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and push carts up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Nice To Haves

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload soiled products from trucks.
• Separate products by type.
• Weigh soiled products and hoist or store them until the next process.
• Handle reductions or modifications to customer accounts by adding or removing product.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by the area supervisor or management.
