About The Position

The Production Team Member operates the bagging operation system to inspect, label, bag, and stack feed products, and loads bagged feed onto delivery trucks and customer vehicles. The role includes monitoring feed quality, weight, and packaging; operating and maintaining equipment and warehouse systems; keeping accurate records of ingredients, production materials and equipment deliveries, production, inventory, and loading; and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The employee may perform other feed production-related duties as needed. The posting identifies this as a day-shift position and notes availability for second or third shift, overtime, and weekends is required.

Requirements

• Problem-solving ability and mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds consecutively.
• Must be available for second or third shift, overtime, and weekends.

• Production or manufacturing industry experience.
• Previous forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the bagging operation system to inspect, label, bag, and stack feed products.
• Load bagged feed onto delivery trucks and customer vehicles.
• Inspect and monitor feed quality, weight, and packaging.
• Operate and maintain tow motors, pallet jacks, the bagging system, warehouse racks, and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate daily records of ingredient and production material/equipment deliveries, feed production, inventory, and loading.
• Maintain a clean and organized bagging operation and warehouse for safety, efficiency, and appearance.
• Perform other feed production-related functions or duties as needed.
