About The Position

Universal Pure is dedicated to providing safe, fresh, and delicious food and beverages through high-pressure processing (HPP), value-added services, and cold storage for partners in the food industry. The company emphasizes safety and is driven by service. This role is in the Food Manufacturing Industry within a Manufacturing, Production, or Warehouse-type setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Refrigeration, warehouse, production or manufacturing experience
• Ability to perform basic mental math
• Ability to communicate in English (Speak, read, and write)
• Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively work with others and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a cold/wet environment
• Ability to lift 10-35 lbs repetitively and up to 45 lbs occasionally
• Ability to push/pull up to 250 lbs on rollers occasionally
• Ability to stand for 10-12 hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Packing and unpacking product
• Loading and unloading cylinders for the HPP machine
• Stacking and building pallets
• Labeling and code dating product
• Sanitation duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
