Position Summary & Key Areas of Ownership Responsible for running various aspects of production, packaging, and cleaning for a natural food manufacturer.

Requirements

Expected to learn GMP's, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Safety Procedures and Quality at the Source testing and documentation for your assigned work area.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work independently and as a team player.
The right candidate will be able to work efficiently and effectively in all aspects of the position and be available for overtime as needed.
High school diploma or (GED)
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
This position is in production and could involve any/all of the following physical work conditions for long periods of time throughout the shift: Standing, Walking, Lifting up to 50lbs, Bending, Twisting, Sitting, Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, Climb or balance, Use hand/fingers to handle or feel.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Packaging of finished goods products.
Utilize machinery necessary in the packaging of products.
Assisting with cleaning of the production room and various other areas.
Ability to complete any necessary paperwork associated with the production process.
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
Switch between products quickly and efficiently as needed.
Good communication skills to work with production, maintenance, and management staff.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to cross train and provide support with other production work centers.
Other duties as assigned.
