About The Position

Gear Up is seeking production team members who are eager to learn and work in a collaborative environment to meet production goals while adhering to high-quality standards. Team members will be cross-trained in multiple facets of the production process including pre-production picking & filtering tasks, heat pressing garments, and/or quality checking and shipping orders. This role is being hired for our busy season and is expected to go through late October to January and may be extended to March. There is also a possibility to convert this seasonal role into a full time role.

Requirements

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret sales orders and other written instructions.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Energetic and motivated.
• Ability to learn and use computer systems to input and verify the information.
• Ability to kneel, squat, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to walk throughout production floor
• Ability to reach and grab totes stored overhead
• Ability to see and distinguish colors

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and MRP systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sorting and picking artwork (logos, numbers, etc.), verifying that art and garment SKUs match order paperwork.
• Interpreting order paperwork. Positioning art, names, and numbers on garments. Operating textile heat presses.
• Verifying that the finished product matches customer orders, packaging and preparing orders for shipment, and interacting with our shipping software.
• Additional duties as assigned.
