Requirements

Strong communication skills to support teamwork and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
Proficient math skills for alloy chemistry calculations and furnace operations
Ability to work safely in extreme heat conditions and maintain physical stamina throughout the shift
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and process adherence

Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Oracle software systems
Background in manufacturing, foundry, steel, or heavy industrial environments

Responsibilities

Process scheduled work by melting metal to prescribed alloy specifications safely, accurately, and on time.
Monitor furnace capacity, adjust alloy compositions, and ensure production schedules are met.
Maintain chemistry accuracy, minimize scrap, and support efficient production flow.
Verify alloy specifications and take samples for review to ensure metal quality meets required standards.
Accurately input production data into computer systems including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Oracle to maintain traceability and support operational reporting.
Work in a high-heat industrial environment requiring extensive walking, physical agility, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
Work closely with a small, team-oriented group under servant leadership, contributing to a culture of safety and production excellence.
Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm behaviors in support of developing a world-class safety culture.
