About The Position

TIGER Drylac USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to support our manufacturing operations in St. Charles, IL. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for helping drive safe, efficient production while supporting operators, maintaining product quality, and ensuring smooth day-to-day shift operations. The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing background, is comfortable working directly on the production floor, and can lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of manufacturing experience required.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities based on urgency and importance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding manufacturing environment.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership or team lead experience is a plus.
  • Experience working within 7S, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or Lean Manufacturing environments preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, training, and support to production employees.
  • Work hands-on during machine changeovers to help ensure timely and efficient production.
  • Monitor production processes, equipment operation, and powder usage.
  • Verify machine components are properly cleaned and ready for production.
  • Understand process settings for various formulas and ensure proper machine settings are being used.
  • Operate production equipment and assist with batching or material handling as needed to maintain production uptime.
  • Ensure smooth communication and transition between shifts.
  • Complete pre-samples and required testing according to established inspection plans.
  • Assist with identifying, verifying, and correcting product quality issues.
  • Use quality testing equipment and make necessary production corrections, including weighing and adding corrective materials.
  • Reinforce proper PPE usage and safe work practices.
  • Conduct health and safety audits and assist with accident investigations.
  • Promote and reinforce 7S standards and participate in the first responder program.
  • Support interviewing and onboarding of new employees.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, development, recognition, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Complete required production paperwork and collect order-closing information.
  • Assist Quality Control with order discrepancies and scrap investigations.
  • Follow applicable ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
