  • Level 2 Product Training
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2-4 years supervisory experience in automotive manufacturing or high volume manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949

Responsibilities

  • Utilize OPS and L2L Team board to monitor daily production, quality output, and follow up on excessive downtime, initiating corrective actions.
  • Schedule daily production, allocate resources, ensure vacation coverage, and control overtime.
  • Conduct department employee meetings at the start of the shift and participate in Gemba walks.
  • Provide timely feedback to enhance performance and foster a positive work environment.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations regarding training or coaching of personnel.
  • Complete Team Leader, 5S, and verification audits.
  • Collect and reconcile work orders.
  • Monitor preventative maintenance activities to ensure completion.
  • Follow and enforce compliance with all Health & Safety, Environmental, Legal, Quality, and Oetiker policies and procedures.
  • Lead and implement OPS improvements.
