About The Position

As a Production Team Leader, you will lead daily shift operations, support and develop hourly employees, and help drive a safe, quality-focused, zero-loss culture. This role is responsible for meeting production goals, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring products meet Glanbia’s safety, quality, and food safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; three or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, diagrams, and schedules.
Strong communication, problem-solving, prioritization, delegation, and basic math skills.
Intermediate computer skills, including email, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
Must complete Glanbia’s Team Lead certification program.

Responsibilities

Lead shift production activities to meet safety, quality, output, budget, and continuous improvement goals.
Coach, develop, and provide performance feedback to hourly employees while supporting team accountability and engagement.
Uphold Glanbia safety, GMP, SOP, FDA, USDA, Idaho state, HACCP, and SQF standards.
Schedule and coordinate employees, shifts, production activities, audits, inventory checks, sampling, and daily standard work.
Partner with maintenance, logistics, warehouse, and shipping teams to support production flow, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance decisions.
Report on plant performance during daily reviews and staff meetings while demonstrating professionalism in communication and behavior.
Serve on committees as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with applicable occupational safety, health, and food safety requirements.
