About The Position
Lead a production team in a fast-paced stone fabrication shop. You'll guide and motivate your crew to keep operations running smoothly and hit daily goals. Stone industry experience is a plus, but not required. If you have strong leadership skills and a willingness to learn, full training on our processes and equipment is provided.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience (team lead, supervisor, crew leader, or similar)
- Fluency in Spanish and English (required)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read work orders and production instructions (shop drawing training provided)
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices (OSHA a plus)
- Ability to learn stone fabrication equipment and techniques
Nice To Haves
- Stone industry experience
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or construction experience
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate production for cutting, polishing, edging, and fabrication
- Assign tasks and manage schedules for fabricators, CNC operators, polishers, and helpers
- Meet production goals, quality standards, and customer requirements
- Learn and oversee CNC machines, bridge saws, routers, and hand tools (training provided)
- Coach team members on safety procedures and best practices
- Inspect finished workpieces for accuracy and finish quality
- Keep the shop clean and efficient using 5S/lean principles
- Work with project managers, the CAD team, and install coordinators to ensure jobs are ready
- Track materials and inventory, and coordinate restocking
- Report production results, attendance issues, and concerns to management
